Mrs. Marianne Gordon has been a Trinity teacher since 1993. She earned an Associate’s Degree in Marketing and Sales from Owens Technical College prior to making a career change to education. In 1991, she graduated from Toledo University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, holding a minor in environmental science. She went on to further her education at BGSU, graduating in 2009 with a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Development
Marianne loves to share her faith with the students in her classroom. She also loves to see the excitement in her student’s eyes when they are engaged in a fascinating science experiment, or the thrill on their faces when they finally master a challenging new concept.
Her family includes her loving husband of over 30 years, her daughter, Sandi, a mixed golden retriever named Muttley and two miniature dachshunds, Rudy and Franky.
Marianne enjoys all aspects of the outdoors and being active by swimming, sailing, snorkeling, biking, hiking, jogging, and racing around on a jet ski.
Marianne’s favorite Bible verse, 1 John 4: 7-8, is a constant reminder of the origin of love.
“Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love…we love because he first loved us.”
